Where we left off, today we continue: a new home for the Kovačević family.

Today, in the village of Plemetin, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a new home for Gordana Kovačević and her two children, marking an important step towards creating better living conditions and a more secure future.

This moment represents the beginning of a new chapter for the Kovačević family, who, thanks to this support, will have the opportunity to continue their lives in a safe and dignified home.

“This foundation stone symbolizes new hope and a more secure future for the Kovačević family. Our goal is for every citizen to feel that they are not forgotten and that we will always be there to support those who are most in need of assistance,” said Nenad Rašić, Minister for Communities and Return.

The Kovačević family expressed their gratitude to Minister Rašić and the Ministry for Communities and Return for the support provided, emphasizing that this day represents a new beginning for them and renewed confidence in a better tomorrow.

This project represents the continuation of the activities of the Ministry for Communities and Return, aimed at creating better living conditions and providing support to families most in need of assistance. Just two weeks ago, a contract was signed for the construction of 80 new houses, as well as the renovation of 20 existing buildings, further advancing concrete efforts to improve living conditions and provide support to citizens.

The support provided to the Kovačević family in the village of Plemetin is another example of the Ministry’s continued efforts to improve living conditions and provide concrete support to families and non-majority communities.
