Minister Krasniqi Attends the Presentation of the MICS 2025 Findings

The Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, participated in the presentation of the MICS 2025 findings, conducted by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) in partnership with UNICEF.

MICS 2025 represents one of the most important sources of data on the situation of children, women, and families in Kosovo, providing a clear overview of the progress achieved, as well as the areas where further investment is needed.

The data indicate progress in participation in early childhood education, child survival, school readiness, and the reduction in the use of violent discipline.

In particular, the findings help identify challenges that require further commitment to ensuring inclusion and equal opportunities for children from Ashkali, Egyptian, and Roma communities.

The analysis highlights the importance of using these data to inform the development of policies and measures that directly contribute to improving the well-being of children and families in Kosovo.
